- Today it was a gloomy and rainy day but, it was the day of sectionals so Tom was beyond excited!

- After winning sectionals he came home with his gold metal around his neck to show his mom, his mom was not too impressed which lead to a huge argument of how Tom felt, Toms mom brutally denied him and insulted him which lead to Tom run away
- Tom ran to the bridge with puddles of tears in his eyes looking down at the rushing water slamming into the rocks, the flashback or his mothers words rambling through his head. Tom waited to see if anyone would come and try and stop him, the only thing near him was a light pole and tumble weed.
- Tom mumbled ''well I guess this is it" and threw his leg over the ledge, then a man holding a black brief case, dressed in a suit and tie and asked him. "Hey! your Tom wickers right?" Tom was confused but did not say a word only a nod of the head. "well I LOVED how you played out there today and I was wondering if you would like to come play for my team, You would be joining UCLA!" Tom's mouth DROPPED.
