- Ransford falls off boat and into water and ends up being on a island. Ransford does not know where he is. So Ransford goes off to explore the island.
- Climax
- Ransford goes off to explore this unknown island, and ends up meeting General Zaroff and Ivan for the first time. The general takes ransford back to his house.
- Falling Action
- Ransford and General Zaroff have a talk until Ransford realizes something about what the general says to him. Ransford realizes that the general hunts people and not animals anymore on his island. Then ransford soon becomes a hunting target for the General.
- Resolution
- Ransford jumps into the sea and the General believes that Ransford has evaded him for good. So the general returns back to his house to eat dinner/
- General Zaroff heads back to his house to eat his dinner and celebrate his next hunted win. But before surprisingly meeting Ransford sitting in his bedroom waiting for him.
- Ransford and General Zaroff meet again but closer and more determined to see who will be the victor. General Zaroff and Ransford have a scuffle but the victor is Ransford. Then Ransford says that this is the best bed he's ever slept in ever.
