- The peasants found out that King Louis XVI hired a foreign army to protect him instead of hiring people in his country. These angry peasants stormed the Bastille and stole all of the gun powder.
- We are arresting you for the start up of the Reign of Terror.

- King Louis and Marie Antionette were 2 of the first people who were executed by the guillotine. This was the beginning of the Reign of Terror.
- Now we can finally live freely!
- Serves you right! We had to live in fear for years.

- The Reign of Terror is the time period when thousands of people were executed. No one was safe from it and you could be executed however a person decides. If there was a large amount of people the wouldn't use the guillotine as it took a long time.

- Eventually the people were tired of all of the killing and the Terror came to an end. But the people were not satisfied until they found someone to blame. Robespierre was that person.
- Well, I guess they needed someone to blame.
- Robespierre and his supporters found themselves facing their own creation that was supposed to kill others but killed them last.
- The country was finally at peace and a new leader was voted in. That person was Napoleon and everyone was happy.
