- Welcome To the Grassland Savannah! We are currently in the continent Africa.
- Predator-Prey Relationships
- The grasslands are very dry, with a precipitation of 9-30 inches of rain YEARLY! It's also very hot in the savannah, with a temperature of -40 to 100*F
- Symbiotic Relationship
- There are so many plants and animals of the savannah! Some of them are lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, gazelles, grass, and birds called Redbilled Oxpeckers.
- Competition
- One predator/prey relationship is the Cheetah to the Gazelle. The cheetah hunts the gazelle to eat, and the gazelle runs to survive.
- There are many symbiotic relationships in African savannah. One is the relationship between the Redbilled Oxpecker and rhino. The bird eats the bugs off the rhino or elephant and cleans it. This is an example of mutualism.
- There is always going to be competition in the savannah, either for food, water, or shelter. In this competition, 2 male lions fight for control of the pride.
