نص القصة المصورة
Romeo enters and surprises Friar Lawrence with his early greeting.
"Good morning, father."
"I enjoyed a sweeter rest than sleep."
"Were you with Rosaline?"
"Something's wrong if you're getting out of bed this early."
"I have forgotten her and the sadness she brought me. Someone wounded me with love and was wounded with love by me. You can cure us."
Romeo tells Friar Lawson that he has fallen for the Capulet's daughter, and asks that he marry them. This confuses Lawrence.
"You've changed so quickly! You've given up on Rosaline? You've cried so many tears for her."
"I love the Capulet's daughter, and she loves me. We need you to marry us. I'll tell you more later, but please, marry us."
Romeo argues that Friar Lawrence would scold him for loving Rosaline.
"You didn't love her, you obsessed over her. I didn't tell you to replace your love with another."
"You scolded me for loving Rosaline."
"She just knew that you were acting like you loved her without knowing the true meaning of love."
Romeo begs that Friar Lawrence marry them.
"Please don't scold me. This girl loves me back, Rosaline did not."
Friar Lawrence agrees to marry them in the hopes that it will end the families hate.
"I'll help you with your secret wedding. Maybe this marriage will turn the hatred between your families into love."
"Let's go."
