- Once upon a time, there was an old lion who was starving. He was too old to hunt.
- One day, the old lion got an idea. He grabbed a rat and threatened her to inform everyone to visit him as he was dying soon due to his illness.
- After a while, the rat fearfully told other animals that the lion was sick so they should visit him. They had to pay a visit as they were afraid of the lion.

- The next day, they had no choice so they paid lion a visit one at a time. Then they kept disappearing one after another.
- The clever fox felt strange because none of them appeared after visiting the old lion. So at night, the fox sneakily went to the lion's den to find out what had happened.
