The Assembly of the Six Counties took place on 23 and 24 October 1837 at Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu. It was attended by some 1,000 to 5,000 people, including several Patriote leaders, such as Wolfred Nelson, who announced his support for an armed rebellion.
