- In this scene, Mr. Rainsford tried to hide his tracks as he went up the tree, and is now hiding on a limb. General Zaroff knows where Rainsford is, and gives him a second chance.

- In this scene, Mr. Rainsford jumps out of the curtains and pulls a knife out on General Zaroff, and they prepare to have a dual.
- Get ready, General Zaroff.
- In this scene, General Zaroff lying dead at the base of his chateau being eaten by his hunting dogs. He is here because he lost the dual against Mr. Rainsford.
- In this scene, Mr. Rainsford is sleeping in General Zaroff's bed, since he won the dual, and fed General Zaroff to his hunting dogs.
