- Yo! Today we talked about eras in Texas History.
- WE FOUND LAND! From 1519-1690 the Europians were looking for new land. They ended up finding Texas. Now they have to figt the native tribes of Texas to claim the land. This was called the age of contact era.
- During the Spanish colonial era the Europians were builing missions. The missions were built to teach the natives their way of living.
- At the end of the 19th century Texas´ economy was booming. The cotton, cattle,and railroad all were a big factor.
- Early in the 20th century the the oil industry was amazing.The growth during World War 1 and Pogressive Movement was extraordinary .
- In the second half of the 20th century a study medical and technology was advancing, Because of all the different eras it led to this and what Texas is now.
