- It shows Ollie, who’s mom died and loves books, leading a sad, boring life. She befriends Brian and Coco. She finds a woman by a river who is about to throw away a book. Ollie takes the book.
- Falling Action
- Ollie goes on a field trip to a nearby farm. A haunted story relating to the farm is the same as in the book she stole. On the way back, their bus breaks down. Ollie senses danger and runs away with Brian and Coco.
- Resolution
- They are transported to another dimension! The trio run away from their fellow classmates that are now scarecrows! They are put in multiple life and death situations to try to rescue their friends. Their journey ends in the middle of a maze
- Conflict
- RUUUN!!
- In the maze, the Smiling Man, the man responsible for all of the problems, tries to make a deal with Ollie, but Ollie knows it’s not going to end well, so she doesn’t.
- The trio rescue all their peers and escape the horrors. She meets up with her Dad and explains what she’s been through. Ollie goes back to her normal life, until…
- The three are trapped in a different world. They need to escape the horrors and the grueling past to defeat the Smiling Man. Scarecrows, Smiling Man’s goonies, are always on Coco, Ollie, and Brian’s tail!
