Hi! I'm Matt Bevin governor of the US State Kentucky. I have the power to choose how much we tax people to pay for programs like Education and Health Care and buildings, roads and other projects.
Here at a house of representatives meeting they will discuss things that happened around the state. They will vote on new laws. There are 2 representatives from every county.
Here at the judicial branch we will talk about cases that are heard locally but are big enough. These cases aren't constitutional. What I mean is that the person that committed the crime committed the crime that went against the constitution.
.In the executive branch the Mayor can sign laws to make our community safer. These laws that he signs are not against the constitution. He also vetoes laws.
The legislative branch is the city council they will decide which laws the mayor will maybe want to sign off on. Every state has a local, state and national government. And each of them have a legislative, executive, and judicial.
Here at the judicial branch we will talk about civil cases, family cases and many more. In the civil cases you will work with people suing. family cases are where you can adopt your son or daughter.
