- The NW Ordinance was considered a success because it encouraged education, free religion, and a fair court system.
- Shayś Rebellion was caused by farmers being taxed and not recieving payment for their services. This led to farmers not being able to pay taxes and being sent to jail.
- The rebellion encouraged national leaders to create a stronger central government. The AoC seemed to be a failure.
- Daniel Shays led the rebellion and freed farmers from jail and closed court hearings. A militia was formed to stop the rebellion.
