- in the Virginia plan the number of voters per state is braced on population while the NJ plan voter only got 2 votes per state. In the great compromise they fused the m together to create the three branches of government
- there where other compermies such as the trade compermise where only import where taxed and congres could not talk about slavelery untill 1808. another compermise of the 3/5ths compermise where inslaved people counted for 3/5 of the poulation
- in order to keep each branch in check congres made a set of Checks and balences for each branch to make shure one does not have too much power over the other.
- The executive branch is the branch the president resides and enforces the laws. the president can also vito a bill wich the legislative branch has proposed to keep it form becoming a law.
- The legislative branch makes the laws that the executive branch encores which can be vetoed by the executive branch. can undo a vito by having 2/3s of congris ignor it.. inorder to amend the constatuion where 2/3 of congris have to agree on the amendment then 3/4 of the state legilter have to aprove it then the constatuion is amended.
- the judicial branch interprets the laws and gets the final say in the matters of both branches when it comes to laws
