- It was on the Spring of, April 19, 1775. The British Army got out from Boston with about 700 British troops to capture rebel leaders Samuel Adams and John Hancock in Lexington and to destroy the Americans store of weapons and army supply in Concord.And they did not look happy.

While the colonists lost many men, the Battles of Lexington and Concord were considered a major military victory and displayed to the British and King George III that unjust behavior would not be tolerated in America not only that but all of them.Those men were very brave and sacrificed almost their everything to have equal rights and for that we own them a lot.
