- Thesis: France's tumultuous 10 year revolution resulted in a minor reformation of its class divided monarchy into a more stable democracy the people of France had been fighting for.

- We're the Third Estate and make up 96% of the population, but we have no rights or privileges!
- We're the First Estate and can make people pay taxes known as the tithe!
- We're nobles, known as the Second Estate, and we don't pay taxes!

- I'm King Louis XVI and I have complete control over France.
- I spend money on what I want and how I want it. No one can stop me because of what's called "royal absolutism."

- We're in a financial crisis!
