- This is a story about how a cell named katrina goes through mitosis. Mitosis is the process of making more cells. Katrina learned about this in school before but she never experienced it.She knows that there are 2 DNA strands in each cell. One day she has this weird feeling.
- All of the sudden she feels this popping coming from her stomach. " Is this really happening?" she asks herself. She knew that when she starts mitosis, it starts with interphase and that's when the dna duobles, there will be two or three little pops in her stomach.
- Then everything in her stomach started to move like nothing was controlling it. "what is happening!!! It can't already be the second phase, prophase!!!" she yelled in pain. She was correct, it was prophase when the entire nucleus disappears . " WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN NOW!!!!".
- Then she feels everything is connected but not in the right spot. She knew she was in the third stage, Metaphase. Her body started to feel like normal but not normal at the same time. She knew that the spindle fibers attached to her DNA. Now she was half way through and was almost done.
- Then after a few minutes, the top and bottom started to come in the middle. She yells "ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!??". She knew she was in anaphase. Then she feels the DNA starting split. " Am I gonna split like a banana split!?!?". She was almost there.
- She felt two nucleuses form in her body. Finally, she felt more normal than ever until...... "OMG IM SPLITTING IN HALF!!!!!!!" she yells. she realizes that she has went through telophase and cytokinesis. now she has two daughter cells named Addie and rosie!!! THE END
