- Whenever they got to the location to which Aslan sent them, they saw that there was a gate and note that warned to only take one apple. They figured since Digory was the one that Aslan had sent to do the job, that he should go alone to get the apple.
- Just as Digory was about to head back to Polly and Strawberry he saw he was not alone; there stood the witch only a few yards away from him. She had eaten one of the apples and thrown the core on the ground. The witch tried to convince Digory that if he ate the apple himself, he would become knowledgeable. Digory thought about it for moment and then remembered about Aslan and how the witch was evil. So Digory ran to Strawberry and Polly, and they flew back to Narnia.
- No! Why would you ever want to help me?
- You fool! Eat the apple and you will become knowledgeable!
- Whenever they got back to Narnia there was a ceremony about to happen. This ceremony was to make the cabby and his wife the first king and queen of Narnia. Every animal and creature clapped and cheered. And Uncle Andrew had made his way back to Narnia.
