- "That which hath made them drunk hath made me bold."
- "why did you bring these daggers form the place?"
- "Macbeth does murder sleep"
- Lady Macbeth got the guards drunk with wine so MacBeth could kill king Duncan
- "I'll go no more. I am afraid to think what I have done. Look on 't again I dare not."
- Macbeth came back with the dagger that he used to kill king Duncan instead of putting it with the guards who were passed out
- "Give me the daggers. The sleeping and the dead"
- "Get on your nightgown, lest occasion call us And show us to be watchers."
- Macbeth was hearing and seeing things because he was so paranoid and he was feeling guilty after killing king Duncan
- "I hear knocking"
- Lady Macbeth yells at Macbeth to put the dagger back but he refuses because he does not want to see what he has done
- Lady Macbeth takes the dagger back to frame the guards so they can blame them for the murder of king Duncan
- Macbeth and Lady Macbeth hear knocking at the gates so they had to pretend they were asleep
