- Hello my name is Alicia and I live in the Southern colony. Today I would like to tell you about my life here. I will tell you about my geography and climate, resources and specialization, social life, political life and interdependence. I hope one day you will come and visit soon.
- Social Life
- I am located in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. The climate here is Humid climate with mild winters and hot summers. The agriculture is Appalachian Mts., Piedmont, Atlantic Coastal Plain, Good Harbors and rivers.
- Political Life
- In order for us to make a living we used cash crops such as tobacco, rice, cotton and indigo resources. Our natural resources are fertile farmlands, rivers and harbors. Our human resources are farmers and enslaved african americans. Our capital resources are tools and buildings. This allows us to make money so we can buy the things we need to survive.
- Interdependence
- Our social life is different from the other colonies because we have a diverse population, the way we live and interact with others is different from others. Our religion is the church of england
- Our political life revolves around counties.We usually meet at the church of england.We often settle our problems by going to the church of england.
- We depend on the new england colonies for manufactured goods such as metal tools and equipment. We also depended on the mid-atlantic colonies for grains and other agricultural products not plentiful in the south.
