- Hi I'm Claude Monet! I was born in Paris, France on November 14, 1840. Believe it or not, some of my friends and I started Impressionism painting!

- As a boy, I didn't like art class because I didn't get to paint what I wanted to paint. One day I met an artist named Boudin. He inspired me to paint.
