- Hey char, do you have any school work to do today?
- Hey mom, and no i got it all done in school today
- Finally i am home and can relax! i'll do that work tomorrow.
- OMG!!!!! i forgot to do my homework last night....
- Good Morning Class, when you have a seat pull out your homework from last night so i can go over it and collect it!
- My mom would always asked me if i had any left over work today everyday i walked in the door from school. I always did towards the beginning of the school year. As time went on i would start to grow very very lazy and feel like not to do nothing. This is where the lies started
- I'm sorry mom.
- I seen your grades... and i even gave you a opportunity to tell me about your grade. You are going to face the consequences char.
- As soon as i got home from school i would be excited to just be free watch TV, text my friends, and be on my phone. That's all i would be worried about and not my school work as much. So i would continue to push my school to the side all the time. It became a unhealthy terrible habit.
- 2 MONTHS LATER
- See what happens when i think my phone and other things are important then doing my work now i have a 0 in for that assignment. And interims are are turned in tomorrow and i have zeros in my grade book. I don't want my mom to find out because then i will be in big trouble :(

- I knew at some point i would get in trouble and she would find out but at the moment i wasn't worried about getting in trouble. I let distractions get in the way and get me in trouble. Now i'm in trouble with no access to do anything fun til i get my grades up... Time to get myself together!
- I later then realized when i lost my mom's trust and hurt her feelings in a way i decided i need to get myself together. So i started completing my work that i needed to complete before i did anything else. Started staying on top of my grades, asked questions when i was confused. And also figured out lying doesn't get you anywhere in life.
