- I will just give you a brief history...Ok, so I was born in Latin language as Dissentire and I am an opinion, philosophy or sentiment of non-agreement or opposition to a prevailing idea or policy enforced under the authority of a government, political party or other entity or individual.
- I absolutely love a fruitful debate. Right you are. I too have some negatives. But look at it this way-: For any policy to work, the government needs a feedback system to evaluate or modify it. The citizens give their feedback in favour or against by expressing their views in approval or disapproval. How do you express disapproval? By expressing your dissent. It's not a device to weaken the system by slowing it. Rather, it empowers you citizens, and puts a check on government powers. You can exercise it through one of the fundamental rights in your Constitution i.e. Right to freedom of speech and expression. Put in simpler words, I'M A WEAPON OF THE WEAK.
- So, you are suggesting I expand upon your role in Democracy by praising you? Every coin has 2 sides. You too must have some negative impacts, right? Like too much dissent can slow down any decision making system.
