- Act 1 Scene 1: Mr.Frank was in the secret annex looking around for the things that were left behind. He finds a white glove and a multi colored scarf and breaks down. Miep Gies enters and hands Mr.Frank a red plaid diary.

- Act 1 Scene 2: The frank family were having a great time until they realized the Green Police were coming after them. They decided to go into hiding for them to be safe. They went to Mr.Franks old business along the VanDaan family.
- Some one else is coming to live here

- Act 1 scene 3: Mr.Kraler Helps the Frank and VanDaan family into the secret annex. He and Miep bring the 2 families food, water, and news about the war. They also run errends for the 2 families so that they can get their more "personalized" needs.

- Act 1 Scene 4: The 2 families settle in the annex and put their things away. Anne is looking very lonely so Mr.Frank goes to comfort her and gives her a present. The present was a plaid red diary.
- Act 1 Scene 4: Mr.Kraler goes and knocked on the door. He is let in by Mr.Frank. He asks Mr.Frank and the 2 families if they can let one more person live here. Reluctantly the 2 families agreed.
- Act 1 Scene 5: The new arrival gets to the annex and introduces himself as Mr.Dussel. Since There was no room left in the annex besides Anne's room He went and became Anne's Room mate. Mr. Dussel is a dentist who is a jew and that's why he is in hiding with you.
