Good day team, we have tasked by the mayor to investigate the mysterious novel virus. Any suggestions on how to go about it?
The numbers are said to be spiraling, we must act fast.
People seem to have to have differing views about this virus, perhaps we should conduct a qualitative study on people's perceptions.
I second that, a qualitative study will give us an in-depth understanding, based on the finding of the study we can advise the mayor and medical team on appropriate measures to be taken
We could also look at the impact of this novel virus in the community of Springville
Numerical data would be of great importance in determining how big a problem this novel virus is.
I get a sense that the team is interested in both qualitative and quantitative data, we will therefore use a mixed methods approach. Although this is time consuming, it will provide detailed information. If we are in agreement will conduct both qualitative and quantitative studies concurrently?
We better get started before the situation gets out of hand
That is a great idea!! Lets get started
Myself and other team members should go to the community to conduct interviews while other team members look at medical and laboratory records
