- The Quartering act came out in 1765 and this made colonist give British soldiers room and board to stationed British soldiers. Colonist didn't like this because they seen this as another way of tax

- The Townshend act was made in 1767 and this made colonist pay taxes on tea, glass, paper, lead, and paint and they had to buy this from Britain. Colonist again cried out over taxation without repesentation

- The Boston Massacre happened on the night of March 5, 1770 colonist protested about taxes. colonist began insulting and arguing with a British soldiers. Everything that happened next wasn't clear but the solders started to fire and killed some colonist
