Well Dwayne, it is actually a pretty simple process. Basically, the light energy from the sun allows plants to make photosynthesis in the chloroplast, in which carbon, water, and ATP are transferred into oxygen and glucose!
Hold on, I think I remember this from my high school science class! I don't remember much, but all I remember is that oxygen and glucose go from the chloroplast to the mitochondria.

Dwayne, that is exactly right! With all of that oxygen and glucose going into the mitochondria, cellular respiration and fermentation can happen, which make ATP! The difference is, fermentation works without oxygen and cellular respiration does!
This makes complete sense now! I just realized that the mitochondria can give carbon and water back to the chloroplast, and this makes a sort of cycle in energy!

Well Dwyane, we've basically stated it just now! It all relies on the transfer of molecules through cellular respiration and photosynthesis. Cellular respiration essentially converts glucose and carbon into water, oxygen and ATP, and photosynthesis does the opposite. This allows for a stable balance in matter, and that is why we are living today!
Now that we have mentioned all of these facts about plants, I am still curious as to how us humans and plants can still survive on one another.
