- What is PII? I'm not sure what to mask
- Well, any information that can trace a patients identity such as their full name or date of birth or initials is known as PII. that is Personally Identifiable Information .

- Oh! here is a stickie that Zoya put up as a reminder last time.....I remember now....
- Hide PII before sharing with me i.e. Name, DOB, Initials, MRD #, OPD #, Hide with stickies or make black boxes with markers before scanning & emailing...
- but just in case you already sent it without redacting….what will you do??? Watch this space for more..
