- The Cherokee people were greatly affected by the Cherokee war. For instance they had lost many people from their tribe as a result of the war and the British attacked them instead of helping them. To add more to their predicament they lost much of their territory because of the treaty that had ended the french and Indian War which stated that they needed to relocate. Their population went from 2,300 warriors or about 6,900 in number. The Cherokee people were slowly dying and being forgotten and were no longer as important to the British as they were prior to the War.
- We have decreased in number because of the many Cherokee people that fought in the war.
- As a result of the Cherokee people taking the horses belonging to the British, the British started attacking them and the Cherokee fought back. This continued for 2 years and many of the Cherokee people died. This led to the royal Governor trying to avert the conflict by taking the peace representatives hostage and no longer trading with them.

- There will furthermore be no trade with the Cherokee Natives and the peace representatives shall be kept hostage.
- In the end, the Cherokee tribe was overtaken by the British and the treaty that had resolved the French and Indian War resulted in the Cherokee people being forced to surrender most of their land and led to the division of the South Carolina colony and the Cherokee Territory.
