- Homes were made with flat roofs that people could walk on and they could use their roof as extra space.

- Most Indus Cities would have wells that you could get clean water from.
- In the Indus Civilization people would take a shower by tipping a clean glass of water over themselves.
- Rituals/ The Great Bath
- The 'Great Bath' which is found in Mohenjo-Daro shows that Indus people had the same beliefs about purity
- The Indus people would bathe as a part of their religion.
- Seals
- People would use the seals to create tags.
- If you were to press the seals into soft clay it would leave a copy of itself on the clay.
- Traders would use seals as labels or to show who owned the sack of grain.
- Trade
- The Indus Civilization did not use money they would exchange goods.
