- Well that's a long story. I was assigned to be in the intelligence force because I learned Arabic in high school. I went through four weeks of basic training where I was supposed to learn how to shoot a rifle and run a lot.
- Mom, you never told me what you actually did in the army. All I know is that you hated it.
- GO! GO! Don't stop running! No breaks!
- I wondered when I could go to sleep. I was exhausted
- I was also forced to clean bathrooms, and bedrooms, and carry out different kinds of chores.
- Ew this is disgusting
- I had already gone through a series of tests to determine what kind of job I would fit best to do. Then I was assigned to the anti-aircraft combat unit and went through 3 months of basic training.
- Mom told me what she did in the IDF, but what did you do dad?
- I learned to shoot and navigate, went through physical conditioning, and made a few friends through the process.

- I went through a 7-month Arabic learning course. I was stationed in the South until I saw an ex-boyfriend from high school and decided that I could not stay there.
