- BUILD ME A BIG WALL!
- Ugh ! I'm so tired of building !
- When will we stop ?!
- I feel so hungry!
- Keep on building !
- The king gathered all the men to build a big wall, the people there thought it was just for their safety and agreed . He made them quit they'e jobs and women had to make food for them. Children were kept away so no one would get distracted and play with them.
- OhOhOhOhOhOhOhOhOhOhOhOhOh!
- That sounds amazing!
- After a while of building they grew tired, hungry ,and dehydrated . They missed they'e families, they haven't seen them in a while because of all the building . The king only wanted them to build that wall to show how powerful he was.
- They prayed to the sun gods ,the sun gods heard they're prayers and created a person as powerful as Gilgamesh( the king)his name was Enkidu. Enkidu only lived around animals and cared for them so he didn't know anything about human kindness.The first ever person he saw was a person trying to kill an animal this made Enkidu angry and he defended the animal and scared the man away. Later, that man told Gilgamesh about this weird creature . Gilgamesh was not happy he ordered the man to bring the creature to him to show that there is no one stronger than he is
- The man took the singer (Shamhat) to the same place he saw Enkidu because no on could resist her talented voice. She sang for hours, until finally Enkidu came to her and they fell in love.One morning, they left together so Enkidu could battle Gilgamesh , Enkidu felt terrible he had to leave his animal friends! Shamhat Cut Enkidu's hair to look a little bit more like the people in the city .
- Once they got to the city Gilgamesh called out for him to battle . Gilgamesh had also stopped everyone from working just so they can see him battle Enkidu so no one else would try to battle him.They fought for hours until Enkidu had Gilgamesh holding on for life when suddenly Enkidu helped him up Gilgamesh was shocked yet happy, he finally knew what having a friend felt like .
- The people of Uruk then celebrated that they were finally at piece
